Arbitrum DAO’s First Grant Programs Are Taking Shape

As token holders work out details​ for two multi-million‍ dollar schemes, the Arbitrum community could soon begin awarding grants.

Two governance proposals⁣ call for⁤ Arbitrum’s‍ $4 billion ‍fund‌ to be used to create grant programs for ecosystem development. ARB ‍stakeholders are voting on the first‌ of two grant programs that ⁤began last week. Voting​ for the second⁢ program begins on Monday.

ARB token holders could gain significant grant-making powers⁣ by voting on programs. They ⁤could decide ⁣which programs are funded and to what extent.

The founder of Plurality Labs (under the alias DisruptionJoe) makes a‌ proposal that is not a duel.

DisruptionJoe commented: “If both proposals ‌are successful, the ⁣affected entities are willing to work together, setting a‍ precedent for pluralism from the ‍start.”

Other arbitrrum-based companies, such as ⁣the Handels- ⁢DEX Camelot, ⁣have ⁢also attempted to issue their own multi-million dollar tokens. That attempt failed last week.
