Binance Belgian Clients Use Polish Company to Avoid Regulatory Ban
Binance’s Belgian customers can continue to use the crypto exchange two months after the country’s local regulator ordered it to cease operations. In June, Belgium’s Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) told Binance, one of the world’s leading crypto exchanges, that it had to leave the country as it is not allowed to visit Belgians from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) to use. Belgian customers are now being routed through a Polish company to avoid regulators’ efforts to evict the crypto company from Belgium, the company said on Monday.
