Capital.com Hires Revolut’s Tarek Mahassen as Head of Risk for MENA

Capital.com has hired Tarek Mahssen as Head of Risk. He has now left Revolut after two years at the company. Previously, Mahassen was the group’s Senior Operational Manager. Mahassen served as Business Risk Manager for the London-based fintech giant.
Moving to Dubai
When asked about his new career path, Tarek Mahassen said: “After 2 1/2 years of great work at Revolut, it is now time for something new. My journey has begun. I am very excited to announce that I am joining Capital.com and moving to Dubai as Head of Risk MENA.”

Another major executive decision has been made. Capital.com has appointed Campbell MacPherson as Chief Executive Officer. Last month, the head of Australian operations was notified.
MacPherson was previously Regional Director for 2015. He was responsible for Pacific sales at FactSet. His responsibilities included managing strategic growth initiatives of banking and wealth clients, as well as providing services to key regional clients.
MacPherson held a variety of positions before joining FactSet. Glenmoira Consulting has a variety of responsibilities, but mainly focuses on business. Consulting, strategy development and project management. He has also been a consultant, development strategy and project manager. Strategic advisor at Jaaims is also a non-executive director.
Capital.com has made other management changes
Capital.com has also made some notable changes to the website. Rupert Osborne has been appointed CEO of Capital.com UK Limited. Osborne took over the role from Kypros Zoumidou. Who became CEO of the group?
Meanwhile, Capital.com reported a total client trading volume of over $1.2 trillion in 2023. This represents a 53% increase year-on-year and is the first time that client trading volume has exceeded $1.2 trillion. It has exceeded $1 trillion since the company was founded in 2016.
