Ec Markets is a Forex and CFD (Contracts for Difference) broker. Nick Xydas has been appointed Marketing Director to strengthen the company’s global presence. Xydas has a background in fintech marketing and brings his expertise from Matworks and CreditPilot, where he drove growth and innovation as Chief Marketing Officer.
Ec Markets has expanded its offering to now include FX spots, metals and crude oil. Xydas’ appointment is in line with the company’s strategic vision, as demonstrated by its recent membership of the London Stock Exchange, and paves the way for market dominance and expansion.
Gold-i’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Chris James has left the company after six years in the role. James was a key figure in customer support, operations and software development during his tenure. Tom Higgins thanked James for his contributions, noting that he quickly rose from a tester position to CTO. James was with Gold-i for almost 11 years and held various roles before becoming CTO.
Gold-i recently expanded its presence in Cyprus through a partnership with DL Consulting. The aim is to improve sales and support in the region. This is in line with Gold-i’s strategy to serve the growing foreign exchange markets in Cyprus. The company has also launched a tool called Swap Free Plug-in, which allows brokers to create trading accounts with no interest fees. This new tool will enable brokers to generate a revenue stream and have better control over their fee structure.
