LMAX welcomes new Managing Director to spearhead ​growth strategy

LMAX Group‍ appoints Chris Knight as Managing Director.​ Knight is a ‌financial markets professional with over 30 years of experience. Years of industry experience, will relocate from Sydney to London. Position with an ‍operator of institutional exchanges in foreign ⁢exchange and digital asset trading.

Knight will initially lead operations. Future growth strategy of LMAX Digital, the institutional cryptocurrency exchange that LMAX Group operates. He has held notable positions in his career including APAC Head, Distribution and Liquidity Optimization for XTX Markets and​ Overseas. He was Head of Corporate Banking at Standard Chartered Bank for a decade. FX, Rates and Credit e-commerce strategy.

Saxo appoints Andrew Bresler as UK CEO

Saxo has appointed Andrew Bresler as UK CEO, effective June 3. He succeeds Simon Camilleri, who served as UK CEO.⁣ Bresler is ⁤an ‍experienced interim CEO. Bresler is a finance⁢ professional with extensive experience. He was a key member of Saxo APAC’s leadership team, holding the position from 2016 to 2018. He was Deputy ⁢Head of Sales Trading in Singapore. From 2016 to 2018, he was Deputy Head of Sales Trading in‍ Singapore. During this time, he focused on growing ‌the bank’s client base in APAC.

Bresler was also Regional Head of​ Brokerage, Portfolio Finance and Digital Investments for Asia and EMEA at Citibank. He has held various leadership positions at InvestCloud. He managed day-to-day operations and⁤ contributed to⁢ APAC regional development from Singapore.

Panikkos Vakkou is appointed as the new Vice⁢ Chairman of CySEC

Panikkos‌ Vakkou was appointed by the Cypriot government as the new President. Vice‌ President of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission. Vakkou joined the regulator’s seven-member Executive Board earlier this year. ‌Giorgos Karatzias was recently appointed Vice Chairman of the Council. The⁢ Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Cyprus. Vakkou is an Operations Manager at Haogen and is also a Credit⁤ Risk Manager. Technology and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Lambertides is also⁤ a Professor of Finance. The Department of Commerce, Finance and Shipping‍ is based at the Cyprus University⁣ of Technology and joined the⁤ Council after Karatzias left the company. Lambertides has been a member of the ​academic fraternity since the beginning.

Muinmos: “Critical for future growth” Former LEGO veteran on the board

Kirketerp ⁣M&oacuteller was the ‍former Head of Operations at VELUX Foundations and VKR Holding as Director ‍of VELUX. He worked for five and‌ a quarter years for ⁣Danish​ Industries, a private business and employers’‍ association representing more than 20,000 ‌companies in Denmark.

Themis ‌Christou, Chief Marketing Officer of Trading Pit Group, is leaving the company

The Trading Pit, a proprietary trading‌ company, is saying goodbye Themis Christou served as Chief Marketing Officer for two‌ years. His previous⁣ company was M4Markets. His⁢ previous college was Harvard ⁣University. The graduate has worked at Tickmill in a variety of roles including Senior Marketing Specialist, Group Marketing Project Manager,​ Global Head Marketing Projects. Interim CMO is the next step.

Christou spoke about the transition when he said: “I am excited to begin a new exciting endeavor,”⁣ he said. “Not​ only will I be using my expertise, but I will also be setting new standards for the industry. Details of the next chapter will be announced shortly. “to make a meaningful⁤ contribution.” ​The Trading Pit​ recently announced significant⁣ changes to its senior leadership team. Lothar Spencer is one of the new appointments. His Monroe Trout⁣ is also joining‍ in June 2022.

FinCom Strengthens DRC by Onboarding CEO of FastMT

Aytugan Khaffilov, Founder and CEO of FastMT, ⁣was appointed by Finmon to the Dispute Resolution Committee. Khafizov was the 37th member of the DRC since its inception in 2013.

Sam Low, CEO of LiquidityFinder, joined earlier. ‌The⁤ Dispute ​Resolution Committee has appointed its 34th industry expert to its committee since its inception. Founded in 2013. Low has nearly 30 years of experience⁢ in the industry. Prior to founding, held positions at Finalto LP, Bloomberg LP, and First Derivatives. LiquidityFinder is now available in 2018. He worked for Pivotal in 1998, Bloomberg LP and Bloomberg LP‍ since 1997. Positions at Integral Development Corporation & ⁢First Derivatives Technologies.

Stephanie ‌Eckermann to ​head Deutsche Börse’s new post-trade department

Deutsche Börse AG ⁣has ⁤appointed Stephanie Eckermann as a new member of the Executive Board, effective ‌June ⁤1. Eckermann will lead ​the newly created post-trade department, which integrates securities ⁢services and fund services with post-trade service provider Clearstream. Eckermann is a member of the Deutsche Börse Group.⁢ She has⁢ been there since 2020. She has been with Deutsche Börse Group ⁢since 2020. She currently holds the ⁢position of⁤ Managing Director, where she heads the Strategy & Controls Post-Trade area within the department under the leadership of⁤ CEO-designate Stephan Leithner.

Martin ‍Jetter commented on ‍the appointment. The Chairman ​of the Supervisory Board of ‍Deutsche ⁢Börse AG said: The Supervisory Board‌ has appointed Eckermann as a leader ‌with a high reputation in our industry. As a new member of the Executive Board, she will bring her expertise and experience to ‌the company. She has played a key ‌role in dramatically transforming Clearstream’s business in ⁤recent years. We are confident that “Eckerman will successfully develop the group’s after-trading business.”
