Equiti Wins the 2024 Limassol Mini Football Tournament

The highly anticipated 2024 FXCubic Mini Football Tournament took place today (Friday) in Limassol. Organised by fintech specialist FXCubic, this exciting football sensation brought together top brands in the FX industry, including brokers and technology providers, for an evening of fierce but friendly competition, with music, food and drinks.
This exciting tournament took place at Wembley Mini Football in Limassol from 5pm. 16 teams of up to seven players each took part. These teams were divided into four groups and the top two teams from each group advanced to the quarter-finals. Later, the players competed in the semi-finals and Equiti was crowned the winner in the final. Here’s how it went:

The mini football tournament reached its spectacular conclusion after 9pm local time. After hours of hard-fought competition, strategy and sheer determination, Equiti emerged victorious and claimed the coveted trophy with an outstanding performance against Match Prime.

From the group stage results, Match Prime and Equiti (Group A), Swissquote and Finalto (Group B), 26 Degrees and CMTrading (Group C), and FXDS and Traders Education (Group D) got the chance to compete in the semifinals. However, FxPro, Tickmill, Exness, Xlibre, Convertico Media, Crossguard, and Axi were eliminated from the group stage.

Race to the quarter-finals is heating up
“The tension returned to Group A as Tickmill prepared to face Match Prime in the closely contested group match. Four competitors pushed themselves to the limit to qualify for the winner and runner-up spots in Group A. FxPro, Equiti Group and Match Prime had four points each while Tickmill had one point so far.
At 19:00 Limassol time, FxPro and Equiti faced off in the FXCubic Mini-Football Tournament 2024 to break the tie in Group A where all teams had picked up one point each. The winner and runner-up secured a place in the quarter-finals. The showdown was sensational and fans were treated to classic football entertainment.
In the electrifying encounter in Group B, Swissquote put in a dominant performance against Exness to secure a convincing 4-1 victory. The game was played with high intensity and showcased some brilliant football skills from both teams.
In Group D of the football tournament, Traders Education led with three points. Behind them was Crossguard with one point. The group also includes defending champions FXDS and Axi.
Anticipation was building as the teams prepared for the quarterfinals of the mini football tournament. Every year this event brings pure excitement, goals, memorable matches and more. It is an exciting, friendly competition full of action and entertaining drama.
In Group A, FxPro, Equiti Group, Tickmill and Match Prime were tied with one point each. In Group B, Finalto and Swissquote led with three points each. In this action-packed tournament, 26 Degrees and CMTrading both scored 3 points. In Group D, Trader Education secured three points while Crossguard followed with one point.

At last year’s event, FXDS was crowned champion in a hard-fought final against SquaredFinancial. Orbex took third place, winning 2-1 against Match Prime.
