It’s an acronym for “you only live once”, expressing the view that one should enjoy the present moment without worrying about the future. It’s also the investor mentality of some people who are willing to take very risky investment decisions without thinking too much about it. Not a very wise decision to have a YOLO investor mentality, if you ask me. “I simply YOLOed in my entire savings on one NFT last night.”
