LinksDAO is renovating Spey Bay Golf Club, Scotland’s first crowdfunded golf club.
LinksDAO has announced new membership options that give golfers access to its global network.
The group announced in March that they were acquiring Spey Bay Golf Club, an 18-hole property on the north coast of Scotland, for around US$1 million. The official completion date of the contract is May 2023. According to Links, the renovation of the square will start in the fall.
The DAO has recently renamed Links Golf Club and is now offering new levels of membership to encourage new capital. Starter is the lowest membership tier and costs $99 per year. It offers discounts on partner brand golf items and access to the digital community. The player is the second tier and costs $499 per year. It grants access to the peer-to-peer network of links with more than 800 private golf courses. Pro is the highest tier and costs $1,499 per year. It offers access to more than 1,300 private and member-hosted courses, as well as access to Spey Bey once it opens.
Links Golf Club allows those interested in joining the club to pay in fiat currency with a credit card.
LinksDAO Global or Leisure members can also join the Spey Bay Club which offers a variety of memberships and benefits.
OpenSea’s minimum price for LinksDAO NFT members is 0.165 ETH or about $300 at the time of writing this article.
