Revolut Joins Forces with BRCC to Build Bridges for Trade Between the UK and Romania

Revolut is a UK fintech company that has partnered with the British-Romanian Chamber of Commerce to promote trade and investments between the UK and Romania. Revolut has over 40 million retail customers worldwide, with more than 3.5 million in Romania. As a member of the BRCC, the company aims to explore new market opportunities for its business-to-business products and is committed to increasing its engagement in the Romanian market. Additionally, Revolut is known for connecting people and enabling faster, easier, and more cost-effective money transfers. Gabriela Simion, General Manager of Revolut Bank UAB Branch Romania, emphasized the company’s success in Romania and its focus on innovation and the user experience. Revolut’s retail business in Romania processed nearly 74,000 transactions per hour in 2023, and the company now operates in 30 markets of the European Economic Area, serving more than 30 million customers.
