XCAD Network founder Oliver Bell defended Youtuber KSI on February 15 after the content creator was accused of engaging in a pump-and-dump scam involving several of his digital asset tokens, including XCAD. Bell wrote in an X post that KSI, whose real name was Olajide Olayinka William Olatunji, was one of the “biggest contributors” to XCAD.
He said that KSI actually bought more XCAD than it sold. Bell said KSI did not engage in a “pump and dump” of XCAD.
Bell also stated that KSI is a “solid supporter” of XCAD and continues to invest in the token.
KSI’s pump-and-dump allegations On February 14, blockchain detective ZachXBT published screenshots of KSI’s X account. The YouTuber said he invested in XCAD and sold it shortly after, worth $850,000.
According to the crypto investigator, KSI discussed various tokens before liquidating them. Coffeezilla, another crypto analyst, described KSI’s move as a classic pump and dump.
Coffeezilla emphasized that it’s not about whether you’re a good caller or not. The crypto analyst argued that KSI’s trading against his statements resembled a “pump and dump” and claimed that such behavior was ethically questionable. Coffeezilla defended KSI.
