XCAD Network founder Oliver Bell defended Youtuber KSI ⁤on February 15⁣ after the ⁣content creator⁢ was accused⁢ of engaging in a pump-and-dump scam involving ⁢several of his digital ⁣asset tokens, including XCAD. Bell wrote in an X post that‌ KSI, whose‌ real name was Olajide Olayinka⁣ William Olatunji, ‌was one ‍of the “biggest contributors” to XCAD.

He said that KSI actually ⁣bought more‌ XCAD than it sold. Bell‌ said KSI did not engage in a “pump and dump” of XCAD.

Bell also stated that⁣ KSI is a “solid supporter” of XCAD and continues to invest in ‍the token.

KSI’s pump-and-dump allegations On February⁤ 14, blockchain detective ZachXBT published screenshots of KSI’s X account. The YouTuber said he invested in XCAD and sold ‌it shortly‍ after, worth⁤ $850,000.

According to the ⁣crypto investigator, KSI discussed ⁢various tokens before liquidating them. Coffeezilla, another crypto analyst, described KSI’s move as a⁢ classic pump and dump.

Coffeezilla emphasized that it’s not about⁤ whether you’re a good caller or not. The crypto analyst⁢ argued that KSI’s trading against his statements‍ resembled a “pump and‌ dump”⁢ and claimed ⁢that such behavior was‍ ethically questionable. Coffeezilla ⁤defended KSI.

Vibhor, an‍ avid ‍fan of the YouTuber, released ‍a 36-page document to defend him. Vibhor admitted⁢ his bias⁤ against KSI, but claimed that the YouTuber only discloses his ⁣crypto-related ⁢activities on the Platform. Vibhor stated that whenever he said he‌ would HOLD a cryptocurrency, the price of ‍that particular cryptocurrency would fall. And ⁤whenever he said it‌ was time ⁣to SELL⁢ a particular cryptocurrency, its value would increase. There’s a meme based on this that says to do the opposite ⁣of what KSI ‌does. And KSI has ⁣admitted⁢ this many times.”
